The Red Door House... is located on 306 Mc Cloud Ave in Mt Shasta, California. This home is just 2 blocks up from Mt Shasta Blvd. This is an ideal location to simply walk into downtown for coffee, stop by the post office, or make a visit to Berryvale Grocery or the outdoor adventure shop. Located on a city lot with huge pine trees the home is private for a city setting. You will be close to dining, the movie theater, local shopping, and all the outdoor activities that draw people to the area. |

About the Red Door House... The Red Door House is approximately 1700 square feet and it is located on a large city lot. The first floor has a living room, dining room,kitchen, small office area, full bath and a large bedroom. There are two bedrooms on the second floor along with a full bath adjoining these bedrooms. There is a 1 car garage, with an electric opener,a storage shed, a fenced in yard area with an old stone BBQ, and an area to set up an outside lounging area to enjoy the days. The Kitchen...This is a completely remodeled kitchen with all the conviences. There is a beechwood portable chopping table,cabinetry for those special wine glasses and display items, plenty of cabinet space with modern hardware, a farm sink, brand new beech wood counter tops, a built-in microwave, 4 burner stainless steel range, frig and a stainless steel dishwasher for you create that special meal. The floors are brand new commercial grade 12x12 linoleum tiles. The Living Room.. This is a great room flooded with southern and western light. There is a door leading to the front door entry which accesses the front yard. The higher ceilings and the custom two tone paint give the living room a light and airy feeling. There is a brick fireplace in this great living room. The Upstairs Bedrooms...There are 2 bedrooms upstairs at the Red Door House. These bedrooms have large windows that make you feel like you are in an upper level of the trees. There is a completely remodeled bathroom in the hall area with a walk in shower, toilet and a pedestal sink. There is a hall closet for those bath items such as towels and extra toiletries.
The Dining Room... The formal dining area off the kitchen and living room gives you that open feel. Flooded with light from a south and east windows this is a perfect place for dinner in the evenings. There is a arched view from the dining room into the kitchen so you can see what is going on easily in the rooms. Adjoining the kitchen makes it easy to move your carefully prepared meals to the dining area and back again. |

The Mt Shasta Board and Ski Park is located 15 minutes from the house All you have to do is drive to Highway 89 and follow the signs. Quick and easy ...the way you like it! The Nordic Center ~ Located on the Ski Park Highway where you can enjoy miles of groomed trails Snowshoeing ~ This activity can be enjoyed all over this area. One of our favorite places to snowshoe are the local golf courses when they are blanketed in snow. There are no crowd here! Snowmobiling ~ Bring your own or rent locally...there are trails located in the Medicine Lake area, up Highway 97 at Deer Mountain and up the Ski Park Highway. The possibilities are endless! Sledding ~ Go East on highway 89 and head toward the Mt Shasta Ski Park. When you get to the left turn off to the Ski Park, look to your right and this area is called Snowman's Hill. You will see many families sledding in this area on a winter day.

The Mt Shasta Resort ~ enjoy this beautiful 18 hole golf course that is only a 10 minute drive from the house The Mc Cloud Golf Course ~ This beautiful 9 hole golf gem has spectacular views of Mt Shasta and retains the small town golf feel. The Weed Golf Course ~ Another 9 hole golf course with the rural feel. The terrain is quite challenging! The Lake Shastina Resort Golf Course ~ a sprawling 18 hole course with panoramic views of Mt Shasta The Lake Shastina Scottish Golf Course ~ This 9 hole course is located in the Lake Shastina Resort. It is a great course to walk and enjoy the quiet solitude of this beautiful area.

A $1500.00 security/damage deposit is required to move into the Red Door House. An aditional $300 is required for each pet once the pet is approved by owner.
